Description:

FUNDAOX 168 is a hydrolytically stable phosphate processing stabilizer. As a secondary Fundaox, it reacts during processing with hydroperoxides formed by autoxidation of polymers preventing process induced degradation and extending the performance of primary Fundaoxs.

Applications:

FUNDAOX 168 can be used as a processing stabilizer in polymers to help control color degradations and melt flow.

FUNDAOX 168 is particularly useful in the stabilization of polyolefins, EVA, olefinic copolymers when used in conjunction with a phenolic Fundaox.

FUNDAOX 168 can also be used to stabilize polyesters, polycarbonates, polyamides, polystyrene, and elastomers. Use levels can range from 0.10 to 0.80% based on the polymer.
